I just bought a real rough 1978 Husky 390 Automatic. I remember someone raced one of these on the National Circuit. Who was the rider and does anyone have any pictures of the race bike? Unsure if I am going to restore it or sell off the parts. It has a trick pipe and Electron carb.

Thanks!

My Husky back then had a mikuni. Though I had a 125CR.

Is it this bike? My dad had one back in the day.

I rode one of those things back in the day. Great fun, but really unnerving how it used to go into neutral when you shut off, and really kick up when you blipped the throttle on the lip of a jump.

Definitely would not suit supercross or modern motocross with multi jump sections, great in the woods.
