Not only a great look at 1960's motocross but, at the start, a brief
historical glance at the land-of-Beatles when I was just one .
Go ahead and dig it.

It started out when they did just one race and they would seem to be "Scrambling" over the dirt.
"Motocross" was / is a French word which came about when the scores of 2 or more races "Motos" were added together to give you a winner. "Scrambles" stuck around in England for ages though. I've raced Hawkstone a bunch and those guys are heros racing those big old beasts around there. The spot at 3:46 is the famous "BombHole" just a few yards in front of that is where they later made the big double that Jobe cleared back in the day. |

Great find. Thanks for posting. I'm amazed how big the whoops got with only 2 or 3 inches suspension travel |
