Not only a great look at 1960's motocross but, at the start, a brief

historical glance at the land-of-Beatles when I was just one .

Go ahead and dig it.

It started out when they did just one race and they would seem to be "Scrambling" over the dirt.

"Motocross" was / is a French word which came about when the scores of 2 or more races "Motos" were added together to give you a winner. "Scrambles" stuck around in England for ages though.

I've raced Hawkstone a bunch and those guys are heros racing those big old beasts around there.

The spot at 3:46 is the famous "BombHole" just a few yards in front of that is where they later made the big double that Jobe cleared back in the day.

Great find.

Thanks for posting.

I'm amazed how big the whoops got with only 2 or 3 inches suspension travel
