I lost all respect for baseball when the entire bunch of overpaid crybabies walked. That was pathetic.

I think it's funny when people bitch about baseball players.

Aren't ALL pro athletes the same?

BTW...if you could throw 105 MPH and they offered you $15,000,000 to pitch every 5th game, would you turn them down and say "I'm not a pussy!"?

Im not bitching about a thing. I just think its a wimp 'sport'. A bunch of mouth breathers stand around on the field scratching their ass and spitting waiting for something to happen. And IF one of those steroid pumped morons hits the ball, the 'action' is over in a few seconds and everyone goes back to standing around for another half hour. Oh gee, what a thrill. At least football players are busting ass every play whether they score or not.

Id rather watch Tiger Woods on the links than ANY baseball game.

Name one NFL player that is on the field half of the game....

BTW, you don't think there are "pumped morons" in the NFL?

Juice is in ALL sports, baseball just gets more play in the media.

Football players play half the game for a whopping 16 game season, while baseball may not be as physical as football or hockey the 162 game season is a grind.

It's a grand game, I attend 60+ MLB games every year and enjoy every minute of it.

If it's so easy, then why don't some of these "key board" jockeys go out and make some of that money?

Because they've never stood in on a 90mph slider or caught a high fly ball.

It's kinda like when people say "the bike does all the work" in MX.

Who said its easy? I said its BORING to watch. Those guys stand around the entire time with a thumb up their ass waiting for something to happen. Boring.

The pitcher/catcher are doing some hard work along the way, but en toto, its boring to me.

If you want to get atta-boy posts from fellow baseball sucklers I would suggest a baseball forum.

I figured the "non-moto" section would also include baseball. I guess I was wrong.

Does that mean that we should tell you when you post a picture of your son and the Marines that maybe you should only post that on a military forum? Just wondering...

In your opinion.....

If he should go to a baseball forum, then the politics guys should go to a politics forum, and the healthcare guys to a healthcare forum.

It's like anything on here, you come out and make some baseless statements as if they're fact and you're gonna' catch shit about it. Seems pretty easy, but telling someone to GTFO because you don't agree with them is laughable.

You guys do realize that MX is considered by most to be "not a real sport" where the "bike does all the work", and to baseball fans making statements like "all the do is wait around with their thumb up their asses" makes you sound exactlylike those critical to our sport.

I don't have a problem with anyone calling baseball slow or boring, but like all professional sports you have to respect the amount of skill any athlete has...

I never said anything was a fact, I said to me its boring. I dont mind catching shit from anyone. Its the internet, BFD ! Also, where did I tell anyone to GTFO? Man you baseball guys are touchy !

I dont care how the rest of the world views motocross. Hell most motocrossers dont view offroad racing (which I prefer) as a challenge and I just smile to myself because I know better. And my statement is correct, those players do stand around waiting for something to happen and most often it doesnt.

zjbell wrote: I don't have a problem with anyone calling baseball slow or boring, but like all professional sports you have to respect the amount of skill any athlete has...

Why do I hafta respect their skill ? Juggling chainsaws is a feat too, but I really dont see myself respecting that skill either. Why is it heresy to have a different opinion? Its almost like a religion with some people, say something to the contrary and the faithful have you burned at the stake.

Okay you guys win, I wont piss on your hallowed baseball threads from here on.

I miss Motodrive........
