Besides, he rode a couple for Suzuki didn't he?

I thought he did ride a few before.

A couple of years back you guys were telling me that Honda was giving Dani a better bike than they were Nicky. Is the same thing happening now with Stoner?

And I dont care about exact positions but how do you see the 3 Americans finishing this weekend. 123?

No body else but Stoner has been able to ride the Duc with any success. Nicky's done about as well as anybody.

The way things have gone this year, at least one Yank will get knocked down or booted off the track by somebody ramming them from behind and the other two will finish 5th and 8th.

Re: Stoner, why do you think that is? Is he just that gifted or was the bike built to his specs and it just hasnt suited the others riding styles?

It seems the Duc has been rocket ship ever since its tires first hit the tarmac. Remember the first year? They couldnt keep tires on it but it was the fastest thing out there and it seems in Caseys hands it still is (most of the time)

I'd like to see all 3 of our boys finish in the top 10! I'd like to see Nicky come home and hit the Dirt track circuit. I know that will never happen because he will be where the money is , but I'd still like to see it.

Really don't know. I'd guess if you had the answer as to why only Casey can ride it Ducati would pay you big bucks.

Sometimes things just suit a certain riding style. Pretty obvous that the Duc and Stoner make a good match. It also has al ot to do with who's behind the scenes turning the wenches and what not.. Of course I know you guys know that , just say'n.

Now that Nicky has a different crew chief dude he is doing a shit ton better than the beginning of the year. Duc seems happy after the change, i suspect next year will be better for him.

Stoner went down on the sighting lap. No word yet if it was mechanical or brain fade.

Well , Ben did a great job and Yamaha made a good move to put him in there as it helped Edwards get 5th in the Championship. All three guys from the US made top 10. Next year is going to be awesome with 4 or 5 guys that realistically can win the championshipCool .

That was a great result. I expected a 10th-15th like everyone else. SPEED Report said that Spies' last lap was his fastest of the race.

He may be a contender next year.

I had him any where from 3 to 8th. I don't know if he'll be a contender to win the championship next year . I see him getting a few podiums and if things go really well, maybe a win. I think he'll be some where in the bottom half of the to 10 in points. JM2cents.

I was impressed by the fact he actually was 12th at one time and moved up. Passed some good riders. Colin and Nicky did great today too.

Ben did a great job. Only one spot down on where I thought he would be. (no Stoner though) I think and hope we will see him running with Colin next year. I think if he was on the factory bike he would be faster than Collin though. Let's face it the tech 3 bike is a little behind on the development curve compared to the factory bike. What was it, 4 races until they got the new valvetrain last year?

I've gotta say for the first 2/3rds of that race I thought my prediction (10-15) was going to be right on the money...then Ben had to make a liar out of me (again) and started moving up...great ride the last 1/3 of the race.

Great Job to Edwards for 5th in the championship...and Hayden had a great ride too. I don't think an American podium sweep is going to be possible, but I wouldn't be surprised to see those three Americans in the top 5 all on one weekend.
