Alberto crashed again today? I didn't watch much today. Tomorrow begins the mountain stages, albeit smaller mountains to start. That is what I love to watch.

Not overly interested this year since Farrar was left off his team.

I just read that his win 5 years ago yesterday was the last American stage win. Can that be true?

Missed the first 2 stages, brain farted and forgot all about it. Now I'm trying to find the network that is airing it and having no luck.
Edit: Just found it! NBC SN. gonna pick it up from here.

I'm watching on this firestick thing.

Eurosport is carrying it with a stage replay before they go live. Greg lemond is doing the bobkee part.

I found french and Spanish tv streams that were live from the start, long before nbcsn or Eurosport went live.

Couldn't understand nothing but the graphics is all you need.

watching a massive pack all cruising at 25-30mph, then have some guy smack in the middle "look ma, no hands" and adjust his helmet or jersey. Crazy.
Anybody who cycles on a regular basis knows how hard it is to maintain mid 20's and up for extended periods of time. It's impressive what these guys can crank out.

You do make a good point!

She claims she didn't know. They shouldn't seek charges, rather just say she was careless.

Contador looks pretty beat up, lost more time today. He does have several flat stages to recover before they hit the Pyrenees. Probably a rest day in there somewhere soon too. The chick with the motor was caught at the Cyclocross worlds last year right? The motor was in the bottom bracket and aided in the rotation of the BB. this is particularly heinous in Cyclocross because of the many short steep climbs.

New leader today. Great race
I always like when a break away works out. I doubt the new leader is anyone the GC contenders are worried about. He may lose his 5 minute lead plus 5 more in the first real mountain stage unless he get's the same shot of Jack Daniels Floyd Landis got. It makes for good racing though.

Many have been suspected. There are some youtube videos with some very good info.

Cancellara is probably the most famous.

They use infrared guns to help detect that stuff.

Watching these guys go so fast for so long is crazy. Here freaks of nature. I wonder how long tbey could pedal without oxygen. Probably 10 minutes past me dieing of hypoxia.

Interesting note: 6 stages in without a single abandonment of the race. All 198 still on the road. It's been like 35 years since that happened last. Congrats to the race organizers.

Great finish today,hauling balls.

I found a stream that had a couple british accents commentators, one was robbie. Then they handed off to Phil and Paul with about 50k to go. No commercials and no id to tell you who the broadcast was.

Pretty cool.

Anybody catch the man and woman on the cliff top with bikes playing chess?

Yeah, there are multi sites that have streams and some that list the channels like Eurosport and sky and fs1.

I watch motos1 on nbcsn extra then hunt a stream for the 2nd motos.

The tdf has 5 ive found ,Spanish, french, eurosport, nbcsn, and Italian i think.

The one today had no commercials, none and like i say, paul and phil did the last 50k of the stage.

I like it.

That sucks about Contador crashing heavily in the first stages. The GC will now be a snoozer as soon as Froome gets a lead and Sky controls every stage. Just like the Armstrong and USPS TdF's. Still, Le Tour is a great spectacle to watch every year. Sagan's not scared to throw down, grab a podium girl's butt and talk sh*t. Hope he wins another sprint stage and the Green jersey this year. The Pyrenees will soon sort out the GC.
