I missed the race...dammit! Good to see Vale on the box and nice celebration by the Yamaha duo:

Sorry about that Scottie,I shoulda warned people earlier.

It was a good race, the doctor with holeshot held them off a good bit.

MM has to be wondering wtf because the Yamaha would pull away like 93 had a banana in his tailpipe. I was waiting for him to loose the front pushing hard trying to make a pass. Clinched championship last nite also..

Good race, Val made Marquez work for it and pulled even with dani for second place in points.

Also looks like the younger Marquez has a 25 point lead in Moto3.

Moto3 is always good but that one was intense. Last lap 1st and 2nd got away with one when they ran wide then dove back out into
the pack to miss the gravel. Little Marquez stole that one.

I would assume there would be no Yamaha team tactics since both Lorenzo and Rossi are both battling for 2nd. BUT, since Marc has the championship tied up does he try to help Dani get as many points as he can by doing what he can to help Dani get to the front and then try to finish right behind him in each of the following races?

I would agree if team Honda allows it. I think they would allow it but then again I can see where they would like to do everything they can to get Honda's in the top 2 slots.

Dani has never won the bike big title has he?

The way Yamaha was pulling big gaps on every straight Honda is probably working the engineers like 12 yr olds in a nike factory.

He's won 3 moto3 championships and finished 2nd in MotoGP 3 times (which is what he's shooting for now). Rossi, Lorenzo and Pedrosa are only separated by 3 points right now for 2nd place. Pedrosa's career stats:

Poor Dani has had his chances to win the MotoGP crown a few times now but, like Trey Canard, has been dogged by injuries in falls. If he'd have stayed intact there wouldn't be anybody giving him grief for being a failure. Vale was worried enough about Dani, when he first arrived in the big class, for him to lose so much weight he looks anorexic. That said, I feel that Dani's chance has now passed with Marc there.

Finishing 2nd behind the wonder kid and ahead of Rossi and Lorenzo wouldn't be all that bad in my opinion.

Marquez isn't invincible! Seems there might be hope for next year after all! Did you guys notice in the moto2 race they kept talking about the temperature dropping, had to be one of the factors in all the crashes. The moto2 and moto3 races were exciting to watch!

Marquez isn't invincible if he goes down. He's close to it otherwise. He had a 4 or 6 second lead when he went down and was the gap was getting bigger.

Great racing! I raced on a brand new track this weekend (national corvette museum motorsports park). Very fun track! We were the first motorcycle club to ride and race there.

When you get a chance post up some go-pro stuff. I always enjoyed that in the past. (it would be fun to see if you're getting any closer to hitting those apexes Wink )

Seth, I didn't see that 'till you mentioned it but I did know that Tommy B. was on no account staying in the team alongside Josh. Whether we'll see Sean Muir fielding a pair of Aussies next year is debateable. Lots of talking goes on but nothing counts until the team makes an announcement - as per Loris Baz and Aspar!

this is true...you have any insight as to why Tommy was let go...disagreement with Sean/the team. lack of results? I thought he did well enough to keep the ride, but you are far more closer to the scene than I.

Im curious as to what they do with Andy Reid...Im guessing a full on SMR supersport ride or Superstock1000 ride. and where Danny B. will end up, he notched up another one this past weekend at the Sunflower Trophy.
