Had a tornado here last night. Luckily there wasn't much damage but it sucks being holed up in the basement for an hour with those wretched sirens blaring the whole time, wondering when your number's gonna come up.

Scary shit.
The corn was over my head when I walked though Saturday.
I was driving up through Kentucky and Ohio last night. I got just past Cincinnati, looked at the weather, and bagged it for the night.
Glad I did. There was a mess of storm damage in South Bend. On one golf course near Notre Dame, I saw probably over 30 huge old trees bent, broken, or just uprooted.
Meanwhile up here in the Pacific NW it was an unbearable 92 degrees yesterday. Fortunately it will cool down to a more comfortable 82 today.

better enjoy it while it lasts, Soon it will be back to 10 straight months of rain and drizzle.
I love mother nature. I've been through one tornado and I just find that stuff fascinating. Now that I have a house, I have a hard time enjoying it all as much anymore. I always wanted to be a storm chaser but never followed through with it.
