He looked pretty anxious and just went for it. But if he takes it serious, he'll make a promotion tons of money marketing him.
And while his technique was crude at best, he can deliver power with those kicks and punches. Ridiculous power.
How much does he weigh?
apparently he broke his training partner's legs with one of those 'weak' kicks.... and that's what the guy was running away from, those kicks
i think he'll struggle should anyone ever be able to get him down, but as long as he's able to keep the fight standing, he should do alright
The Shop
from what i'm reading though, he seems to be taking things slowly and isn't after the US/Japan fights... he wants to develop and when he thinks he can go there and win, he will
trouble is, how many 'not so good' fighters are going to want to face him?.... either way, it'll be interesting to see how he progresses
He walks around at 300, but he will have to stop using gear to fight in the UFC so that would take care of some of the weight loss he would need to hit 265. I would bet he was pretty close to 300 in that fight.
He fights Cheick Kongo.....anyone think he's gonna win?
Kongo needs to stay off the ground, and he should TKO Mir.
i'll take Mir, BJ, Fitch and Kenny in the top 4 matchups
I wouldnt want to be kicked by those tree trunks.
Pit Row
He's got a ways to go, but like you said...he could kill someone.
i think people get too quickly built up, and waaaaay too quickly destroyed after winning/losing fights..... trouble is, everyone is on such a tight timeline, in terms of fitness and fight schedules, that recovering from a loss can take 3 fights which could be 18 months
trouble is, if Pudzianowski keeps beating these so-so people... he's gonna be dumped into a much tougher fight waaaaay before he's truly ready for it
Mir looked really good Saturday, but I don't see Mir/Lesner 3 happening any time soon. I think we'll more than likely see Cain/Big Nog and Mir/Carwin, with the winners going for an interim belt. I just don't see Lesner being ready to go before late next year/early 2011.
yea, sucks about lesnar... not his biggest fan, but i like seeing how guys try going about beating him
