What do you carry?

My two companions:

Both chambered in .45acp, and both are fantastic shooters.

I've also developed a shot shell that will cycle the action of the 1911 reliably. Makes the gun that much more versatile. Made from .308 brass.

What are you guys carrying?

It's so damn hot around here and I sweat so much that I dress as absolutely light as possible most of the year and it doesn't lend itself well to carry anything. I need to work on that. As it is finally cooling down a little I'm going to try a few different setups and see what's comfortable. I do keep a few Sigs close by at home and in the vehicles.

I have the same issue. The heat has been a bitch and even carrying an lcp can be tough to conceal sometimes

If I'm wearing something very light, I carry an old High Standard D-100. Surprisingly accurate for what it is. Not the best protection, but better than nothing.

Popped this grouse at about 15yds with it.

We have a Malinois as well. God damn neurotic ass dog. We also have a Staffordshire bull terrier. I don't worry about the property so much haha.

A shitty attitude, and a baseball bat in the jockey box of my Pete. It's never let me down yet, but it's always the last resort.

Yeah! Another Gun thread. Although nothing different than any other hot topic (Ten threads about the same thing)
I can dig all the weaponry threads put up.Wink

"What do you Carry" I have a small Glock 42 to carry but I rarely do except when I go to places that are known to be sketchy have many other weapons to choose from as stated in another "Gun" Thread..WhistlingLaughing
P.S I love my Kimber 1911 best

XDS 45 appendix and a Kershaw USA speedsafe daily. I love the Glock 43 I bought for my wife so I will be adding one for me as well very soon. With winter basically here I will be able to carry my XD9 service more often owb with a jacket.

Is all this stuff for self defense? I'm well versed in mma and have a crowbar under my passenger side seat if that counts. I have had a gun pulled on me 3 times. Each time I told them they were a little bitch for needing a gun and told them to fight like a man. Each time they complied and got an ass whoopin'. I'm sure i am in the minority here but real men got two hands for a reason.

Crowbar?, You said men use their hands? Old saying goes don't bring a knife to a gunfight., Including a crowbar. Consider yourself lucky a real criminal didn't shoot you, not a tough guy displaying a gun. Did you press charges on the gun situation?

I can handle my self pretty well. Both of my parents were boxers, and that was our other family sport next to moto. However, hands won't always help you. I have a bullet wound scar on my chest to prove it. Taunting someone with a gun is pretty damn foolish.
