I heard through a very reliable source that the US was going to put diplomatic pressure on Russia to not interfere in the affairs of Eastern Block countries as well as provide aide and assistance to democracy movements in those countries until the State Department learned that their citizens think the US is the greatest threat to world peace. We wish those countries well, but certainly we don't want to overstep our bounds and continue to threaten their peaceful situation. Unfortunately we can't undo all the damage we caused through winning the Cold War. Hopefully our lack of involvement will be seen as warm gesture to Russia which will in turn promote peace and freedom as they are so prone to do if it wasn't for the war mongering USA.

Sorry, just that one picture seems a bit odd....almost looks like it's shopped.

The cold war doesn't have much to do with this IMO. In fact, if this were a western country, i don't think they would have the balls to put up a fight.

If you guys haven't read tom clancy's latest book, i think the guy had crystal ball or something. He basically has a story line similar to what is going on except the US is doing alot in the background.

I just listened to russian radio and agenda there is crazy. They are saying that groups of extremists have stolen guns from police and killing innocent people. Not a word about a freedom fight or anything that happens in euromaidan.
This is exactly what happened in Baltic states back in 1991. Russian army spec-ops were killing innocent people, they were shooting at anything that moved. I was 14 at the time and lived alone at home for a week when my mom and brother was in Riga.
