My 2004 Chevy Silverado has been stolen and I am stoked! I have been trying to sell it for a while and I woke up this morning and the Clepto Fairy paid me a visit!
I don't really need the truck since I drive my box van everywhere work related...Well wal-mart and the drive through will be a pain in the ass.
My neighbor is selling a chevy cavalier for 1300 bucks and gets 30mpg! I will probably take that off his hands.
Today is a good day! So you see sometimes thievery is a good thing! Braaaaaawwwww

How?
He never said he set it up, only said that he's happy it did get stolen.
How is that fraud? But what do I know?

Don't start celebrating until you get the check from your insurance company. I've seen these things not turn out so well. "Lying"? That's an endless debate. I was never "sworn in" on this forum.-RC16

Must have been a real classy thief to steal a POS Chevy.

There's probably a lot more MD 20/20 stolen than Château Lafite-Rothschild 2005, too.........

especially when they keep the MD 20/20 in the cooler in the back, what's your point?

That a POS Chevy is about the easiest thing to steal because there are so many of them, besides the fact that if you are going to chop one up, they probably have a decent demand for parts.......

Just pray it doesn't get recovered.........then you're fucked. I doubt it will be though...........good demand for parts so it's probably already been chopped. Unless you live near the MX border.......it may turn up again after it's made a trip or two down south and it get's dumped. Funny, I had my truck stolen when I was in highschool. Filed the report but we only had liability insurance. Thay actually caught the guy 3 days later driving it back into town less than a mile from our house. Went to pick it up at the impound and it had been washed, waxed and the carpets cleaned. Just had an extra 700 miles on it.

Guy I know got his truck stolen. It turned up a couple weeks later, buried up to it's axles in the sand on our side of the fence...........facing North. It had stolen Sonoran plates on it. After he paid a few hundred in towing and impound fees.......and got it back. The only thing wrong with it is that the rear seat was gone and it was full of food wrappers and garbage, and it had several thousand extra miles on it. But, it had a brush gaurd installed w/ a winch, and nerf bars, put on after it was stolen. He get's his truck back, and not only are they going to fix the interior, but he gets this bonus in parts the thiefs put on. So he's raking all this garbage out and food wrappers.........and lo and behold..........he finds a big ass roll of cash in a clip. He was superstoked.
