Won't last ... BBC fucked themselves on this one.

The teet is gone.

The last show they had (contractually forced) Hammond and May do was hilarious for all the wrong reasons.

Sadly not interested anymore it just won't be the same to me

I'm watching the American version of Top Gear on History channel right now and it's just pitiful how grossly inferior it is in every way to the original BBC version. The wittiness of May, Clarkson and Hammond is what made it so good. Along with their dry sense of humor will never be replicated.

GBR's seemed to be over it, but us yanks love it.

I get it, they hear the dry stuff all the time, we don't do that here. I still dig the original.

This will be the LAST time I ever refer to myself as a "YANK".

How could they let those three guys go? That show was special.

I agree. That show just worked.

Most everything American is better. But the American Top gear blows compared to those Brits.

I'm not overly surprised about Mat LeBlanc being on the new show, since he hosted the last series of compilation shows.

I'll check out the new one, but the old crew is what made the original good.

I honestly never cared much for the original one and the American version of it is even crappier by far. Probably won't watch this one either. Wait, I guess I really didn't even need to post as far as that goes, but it's Vital. Smile

Clarkson, Hammond and May were what made the show, they worked well together. Looking forward to their new show.

As for Top Gear it will probably/hopefully die a slow death while the BBC keep flogging a dead horse

Painful! Evans was just annoying and LeBlanc was a cardboard cut out of a presenter. Won't be bothering in future, look forward to seeing what the trio come out with.

It was terrible yes. Matt LeBlanc did an ok job, but other than that it was no good at all.
Can't wait for The grand tour.

Holy shit the Aussie TG was rubbish! But most Aus shows are. Have to laugh at Ol Mates comment about US shows being better. The Office, Wilfred etc they butchered, and let's not forget the Hollywood crap and "blockbuster" movies jammed down our throats...

I'm old enough to know that "Three's Company" was a rip off of "Man About the House". "Sanford and Son" copied the British sitcom "Steptoe and Son".
