I've been watching it from the beginning and the season opener was pretty graphic even for this show. I'll continue to watch but I've heard some people say they're done with it not necessarily for the over the top violence but more for what they think the upcoming story line will be like. It's definitely taken a different turn.

It was messed up for sure. But I'm excited to see where they go with it all.

I've been done with this show since the Glenn dumpster deal last season. That was the last straw for me.

The group finds a safe place. They battle bad people. They defeat bad people. Their safe place gets overrun. They go on the run. They find a safe place. Repeat

All the while, the minor characters die off and every now and then they kill a major character.

Although I wasn't watching by this point, then they have the audacity to ruin an iconic moment by making it a cliffhanger at the end of season 6. They lost a ton of viewers by doing that and they've apparently lost even more by overcompensating and making the beginning of season 7 too gruesome.

A friend of mine said it best. When they were headed to DC and Eugene had the cure, it was great because the show was actually moving somewhere and wasn't going to be repetitious. Turns out, that was fake too. A good general rule for TV shows that aren't sitcoms is anything over 5 seasons and the show will start to get terrible.

Used to watch this show, thought it jumped the Shark about two seasons ago about when they lost the Penitentiary and killed off the Only one who had any sense with the Old dude.
Then they spawned what? about three other Zombie walking flixs?...Flooded the market so to speak.

I see Deadliest Catch is too coming to and end with the producers trying to start a "Cove" type show?
And I think Gold Rush is coming to and end now too that Grandpa is gone. Parkers full of himself That other group is back to a witch hunt in Oregon. Think that other Father Son team had some promise but the show decided to let them go.

Seen this movie preveiw thoght it looked good, should have gotten someone beside Mconn though

Yea, TWD was a little too graphic for me last night. That scene with Glenn's eye bugging out was hard to watch. They said it would be a "reset" episode.

Westworld, on the other hand, continues to keep me looking forward to the next episode.

'Twas a great season premiere in my opinion. (I've read some of the comic books, so I knew what was coming.)

I've been done with this show a couple times now, but I tuned in again the other night. Only half watched it though, had one eye on the local used stuff Inet classifieds to try not to get too reinvested. I keep trying to get out, it keeps dragging me back in - lol.

Not sure for how long though - if Daryl goes, that will likely be it for me for good.

My guess is episode 100 for Daryl to get the chop, which will be the first episode of season 8. I think he's gonna blame himself for Glenn's death and he's gonna lose his way this season, only to make an heroic comeback and save everyone by sacrificing himself in episode 100.

I may however be overthinking shit.. Grinning

I've been watching since the beginning and will watch until the end. This is the only show I make time for every week.

I agree there is a somewhat predictable wash, rinse, repeat aspect, but each challenge is different and more difficult than the one before. At some point it will have to come to an end.

I have never read the comics so I have nothing to go on. There are a couple of different factions out there. I'm sure they will be doing battle soon.

They film a lot of episodes not too far from my house.
We met Norman Reedus once over at Peachtree City farmer's market.

If they continue to follow the comic book storyline, they can easily make it to season 10 before they run out of material. And by then, there will probably be enough new comic book material to warrant an 11th season.

The Walking Dead is the biggest money maker for AMC and one of the most profitable shows on TV, so AMC isn't going to end it unless they have no choice.

Then you should continue watching. As the seasons go on, the zombies are mostly background noise.

Gave up after season 4 but watched the recent episode because of the reviews. I didn't see anything worse than some mainstream movies. I may binge watch this weekend to get caught up.

i've been watching it from the start, season 1 was by far my favorite because of them learning the unknown.

unfortunately i don't have cable tv anymore so i haven't watched the new season yet, but it seems like they're getting brutal as fuck.

My wife loves the show so I'll keep watching but It got boring to me after the search for what the hell is going on stopped.

Its crazy how insignificant the "walking dead" are.

Daryl is in a pretty bad place now though, both in his head and physically.

From what I understand from unreliable sources, there were multiple scenes made where everyone dies, so no one, not even the actors really knew who died.

I thought the King dude and the tiger was the "jumping the shark" moment for the series. But I was nice to know it was all just fake bullshit.
