I've been watching it from the beginning and the season opener was pretty graphic even for this show. I'll continue to watch but I've heard some people say they're done with it not necessarily for the over the top violence but more for what they think the upcoming story line will be like. It's definitely taken a different turn.
The group finds a safe place. They battle bad people. They defeat bad people. Their safe place gets overrun. They go on the run. They find a safe place. Repeat
All the while, the minor characters die off and every now and then they kill a major character.
Although I wasn't watching by this point, then they have the audacity to ruin an iconic moment by making it a cliffhanger at the end of season 6. They lost a ton of viewers by doing that and they've apparently lost even more by overcompensating and making the beginning of season 7 too gruesome.
A friend of mine said it best. When they were headed to DC and Eugene had the cure, it was great because the show was actually moving somewhere and wasn't going to be repetitious. Turns out, that was fake too. A good general rule for TV shows that aren't sitcoms is anything over 5 seasons and the show will start to get terrible.
Then they spawned what? about three other Zombie walking flixs?...Flooded the market so to speak.
I see Deadliest Catch is too coming to and end with the producers trying to start a "Cove" type show?
And I think Gold Rush is coming to and end now too that Grandpa is gone. Parkers full of himself That other group is back to a witch hunt in Oregon. Think that other Father Son team had some promise but the show decided to let them go.
Seen this movie preveiw thoght it looked good, should have gotten someone beside Mconn though
The Shop
Westworld, on the other hand, continues to keep me looking forward to the next episode.
Not sure for how long though - if Daryl goes, that will likely be it for me for good.
I may however be overthinking shit..
I agree there is a somewhat predictable wash, rinse, repeat aspect, but each challenge is different and more difficult than the one before. At some point it will have to come to an end.
I have never read the comics so I have nothing to go on. There are a couple of different factions out there. I'm sure they will be doing battle soon.
We met Norman Reedus once over at Peachtree City farmer's market.
The Walking Dead is the biggest money maker for AMC and one of the most profitable shows on TV, so AMC isn't going to end it unless they have no choice.
Pit Row
unfortunately i don't have cable tv anymore so i haven't watched the new season yet, but it seems like they're getting brutal as fuck.
Its crazy how insignificant the "walking dead" are.
thanks
