Just depends on how bad it really is. Generally, hail sales turn out to be a good deal. A lot of them are even hard to see the damage. You just need a lot more details. Ask them the date of the storm, look up how bad it was. Golfball, baseball et size?
If you want it fixed, you could be looking at anywhere from $2000 to $4000 for Paintless Dent Repair assuming all panels can be repaired using this method. I just fixed a Subaru Forester last week that was damaged in a recent Texas hail storm. Roof, hood, hatch, & drivers side doors all required conventional repair(replace & paint). When that is the case repair estimates are more in the $6-$8k range in my area. Sometimes more depending on vehicle.
I drive a 1997 Z-71. 278,000 on the dash....that sumbitch has scratches from front to back, hail damage front to back from a tornado I got caught in out of Grand Isle nebraska. ( drove out of it only to see the state troopers blocking traffic west due to tornado) it was a good day, ended no toes up!
I don't really give two shits about how my vehicle appears......if that thing runs great, new pt and warranty. im so in
With hail dents u give less shit about shopping cart dings etc..
mentioned, it's a depreciated asset that will have difficulty on the resell market.
Basically, the deal must border on incredible to justify purchasing a damaged new vehicle.
