So far 28 dead. I was at the international terminal in Istanbul just 2 weeks ago.
Apparently they were shooting with AKs before blowing themselves up, which is more like IS conducts attacks than the Kurds, but it is too early to say.
The security is very strict at Ataturk, but you can´t avoid an attack like this regardless of security measures. All baggage and people are scanned before entering the terminal.

Seen this on the news a bit ago...
That cell phone vid of the explosion is crazy.

CNN is reporting people said they heard "Allah Akbar" shouted before hand.

Holy crap. Scary. I was in Istanbul years ago, walking down the street, and a bomb went off. I ran into the street and got hit by a taxi. Bomb wasnt really big, it was a 7-11, people didnt seem that bothered. So the guy I was with and I started back to our hotel and another bomb went off in a bus station. Got to the hotel, called the embassy, they said they didnt know anything. They called back about an hour later and confirmed they knew about them and told us to get to the airport and get out. Pretty crazy but wasnt that big if a deal while it was happening. Oh yeah, we had just got our passports back because a club we went to said we had to hand over our passports to get in the club! We got hammered and forgot about them (found out later that US passports were going for about $10K). How dumb waa that? Youth is wasted on the young!

Jesus Christ. What the fuck is wrong with people. Has anyone heard is the home made explosives were made for civilians? Or would the evil fucks do this regardless of whom the tool was intended for when it was built?

Horrible for the innocents. Will be interesting to see what the back story is.

Those 3 suicide bombers apparently weren't given enough love and compassion.

Wont stop till we kill them all,or ,of course, they kill us first.

Here,Tennessee, the local radio morning talk show is getting more call ever day about where they dumped the load of Syrian refugees. It seems to be about a thousand but no one knows .

Shit is going to get right soon.

I wonder if Ahmed the clock maker got them wired up .

Russia just lifted all of the sanctions against Turkey that were set after Turkey shot down their jet.

Some harsh stuff you're implying there, unless I misinterpreted or don't know the full story.

He's correct....
People think Jihad started after the shit between the US & Iran...
But in all reality even the most educated Muslims will tell you it's been going on for many many years now.
I believe I may have even posted that top vid on here a few years back or so...when JTom & i were discussing Jihad and it's origins.

Another big misconception in the West is....the Muslim religion is not a totalitarian system.
But indeed it is.

Let's thoroughly investigate before we jump to conclusions. By then something else will take our attention away.

Turkey might actually enter Syria now. We were discussing it here 3 or 4 month ago.

If those Jihadists want WW3...they are probably going to get it.

If they keep poking the sleeping bear long enough (whether that's the US, England, Belgium, France, Turkey, whomever)...it will wake up, and it won't be pretty-for them, and, unfortunately, all the collateral damage that will go with them.

They need to...

Wasn't it Turkey a while back that shot down the Russian Jets that were attacking ISIS in Syria ,when they flew through Turkish air space? Then ISIS praised Turkey on social media.
I wonder if now they'll be a bit more lenient now with the forces that are trying to destroy ISIS.

The government is not capable of chewing bubblegum and walking at the same time. Hell, they can't keep lead out of our water yet we want yo give them more regulation power over people and businesses. Look at their failure to keep lead out of water.

Turkey and Saudi Arabia have the biggest and most modern militaries in the region. They could have wiped out ISIS in a day with minimal casualties. But they don't want to see Al Assad regain control over his country because he is Alawite, thus shia muslim. It's all about which successor to Muhammed you believe in. It's pathetic!

Meanwhile Saudi Arabia keeps supporting fundamentalist groups in the region, and refuses to accept refugees from Syria. And somehow the West keeps shaking their hands and sell them top modern weapons

Yes Turkey. After that Russia forbid their citizens to go to Turkey on vacation and put all kinds of sanctions on them, basically halting all deal.
Putin announced today that all the sanctions are lifted and they are friends again.

Did you see this ,what Russia is saying about netflix?
Thought it was sorta funny/silly.

Netflix is part of a CIA plot to brainwash the planet, according to the Kremlin.
Vladimir Medinsky, Russia's minister of culture and a loyal supporter of President Vladimir Putin, claims the online streaming service is on the US government payroll.
