Yep it is interesting, though the whole thing is potentially quite scary. The European version (TTIP) is also meeting with a lot of opposition - especially in regards to what it'll mean for things like the NHS etc.

So all major corporations will go through an International Panel of Arbitrators, where the major corp. has his own lawyer speaking to a judge. No longer inside of our Governments courts? Sounds fucked up. For example, could Monsanto pass an agreement allowing them to bypass labeling laws?

^^ haha wow that is fucked. Bernie Sanders was/is against this isn't he? Vote should be quite clear in 2016 if so.

But then we have the group of constituents who are in favor of this and will avoid giving Sanders (or whoever the they (elite?) don't want) their electoral vote. The Supreme Court could challenge the partnership.. I think? Unless this is constitutional

We won't need a fence before long... People can stay home and make the same wages...

I guess I'm for fair trade, not free trade...

Fair is a tough word to enforce,

Fair to who? big lobby groups like farmers in the US who get subsidies, or to big pharma companies that want longer patent periods,

i have my doubts that it will work the way it was ment to,

Congress still has to approve it. The thing about it that blows is congress can approve or disapprove, but make no changes

can you imagine if every government could make changes, how long the process would take?

TPP sucks and Monsanto does not need TPP to execute their agenda. Monsanto has a huge operation on Maui and including a brand new Kihei police station they built for the city. There was a vote and the people defeated Monsanto but a federal judge overturned the vote. Instead of getting Monsanto off the island they're still here.
Why even have a vote if a judge can do this?

And here is a good one Oprah has an organic farm here that she milks for mileage for her environmental efforts but who advertises in her mag EVERY month? You got it MONSANTO

Bernie Sanders has always been against it... Hillary flip flopped and is against it now...

Except the farmers, it's just another attack of what's left of the middle class...

The Democrats need to shut the fuck up about all our pollution... We don't make anything...

I'm interested in seeing the Republican Party's view on TPP...
