That does look like an awesome idea. Hopefully they hold up and they can get the price down. Those would be nice to have on all roadways

That should come later, but since you can't see ANYTHING under snow and ice usually, I'd still be extremely happy if these things just made it navigable in the rain. The glare you get in those mountain passes really makes it nearly impossible to see any markers.

Most of the winter they are able to get the road scraped down to pavement pretty quickly (day or two) unless it's a huge storm and then you are usually going really slow and following tracks anyway.
