Maybe if we would have stayed there another 11 years or 111 years the place wouldn't be imploding now. Seriously what did we gain by going to Iraq? Please name one good thing that came out of it.

The US has more oil that the middle east... our plan is to use up all theirs, and then control it all and take over the globe....

Oil is so yesterday, the new power factor is the internet, google, Facebook, Vital MX and such, seriously, the old oil men are not ruling any longer, the web geeks are, hence Tesla motors our of Silicon Valley.

Tesla won't be mainstream in the US until the price comes down. And once the price comes down, we're going to find they're not as "green" as they make themselves out to be.

As for Iraq, that place is a nightmare right now. Sorting the good through the bad is impossible. Not a shot in hell it's going to get any better whether we're there or not. God be with the innocent ones who are going to lose their lives one way or the other.

Sunhouse Norway can lead the way on this run if you think ISIS should be stopped. I think the US "broke their pick" the last they tried to "fix" things. New Rolling Stone has an article written by a solider who went back to Iraq after his tour. His conclusion: The place is worse off than before the US invaded....that is his opinion and my opinion is the US is worse off now that before we invaded iraq....unless a person doesn't really care about the sacrifices our servicemen and servicewomen gave then by all means they can thump their chest and talk about how we got rid of Hussein.

I never agreed to the war on Iraq. In fact, Iraq, much like Syria today is better off with a strong dictator to keep the different religious and cultural groups under strict control. But what we are seeing now is what happens when these leaders are overthrown. We see it in Iraq, Syria, Libya and the former Yugoslavia.

But in Iraq the damage is allready done. It is up to the Iraqi´s now, but it is obvious that they need help. We don´t have to fight the war for them, but we do need to help them. I don´t think placing troops there is going to help, but drones, helicopters and planes can come a long way. The rest is up to the Iraqi Army.

The worst part is ISIL has been armed by the US, Britain and France up until now to fight off Al Assad. If anything we should help him and the Iraqi army.

Some of us saw this coming, said so, and were ignored. It'd be nice if Americans would use their hindsight and history to realize we are NOT going to "fix" the middle east, and our meddling only makes things worse over there, brings the problems here, and grows the population of extremists.

When will people realize this??? It's been going on for 50 years, and it has not changed.

New product I designed and put into production. It's a foam hat for Broncos/Manning fans called the Manning Melon. Just got first production (500 units). Darn thing's selling without any advertising...just by word of mouth. Got a peddler's license and will sell outside the stadium for the Texans pre-season game. Also in the process of trying to round up enough money to do a 5000 unit production run. Gonna use this money to fund 4 other products I've developed...but that require more tooling dollars than I have on hand now.

Thats really disturbing.

I was listening to NPR one day and they had a guy on who was talking about ISIL and the fact that they like to make and watch execution videos. Its like porn, they really get off on it.

Sometimes you think what the Germans did to the Jews was pretty bad and stuff like that could never happen again, but it does and always will. One just has to keep fighting against it I guess. The amount of videos and pictures via the internet makes us all so aware of the atrocities that are and have always gone on.

Its depressing.

Ya think they'd be pulling this shit in Iraq if Hussein was still in power? Ummm...nope. The animals over there need a whacky dictator to keep them in their cages. That place isn't ready for freedom and democracy and all of that other feel-good crap.

Ebola is nothing. Way more people die from aids every year. It's just a scare tactic. It was interesting though the doctor who was infected was able to get antibodies from someone who survived it but they don't offer that to normal people.
