Clipped from a stupid AOL post...."The most sinful and saintly cities"

Happy to see Ohio notch two of the top ten sinners here. O-H-I-O! Go Buckeye's!

It appears Peely has held Ogden back and caused them to finish in second....Get to Church more often bro!

According to Trulia, these are the 10 most "sinful" cities in the country:

1.New Orleans, Louisiana
2.Atlantic City, New Jersey
3.Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
4.Tampa, Florida
5.Toledo, Ohio
6.Louisville, Kentucky
7.Shreveport, Louisiana
8.Las Vegas, Nevada
9.San Antonio, Texas
10.Columbus, Ohio

On the other hand, these are America's most "saintly" cities:

1.Provo, Utah
2.Ogden, Utah
3.Fort Collins, Colorado
4.Tuscaloosa, Alabama
5.Raleigh, North Carolina
6.Claremont, New Hampshire
7.Boise, Idaho
8.Asheville, North Carolina
9.Greeley, Colorado
10.Cambridge, Massachusetts

HAHA!

that's awesome. i'm sure LDS owning half of the commercial and residential property in the city has a lot to do with it, not to mention the damn LDS churches are so thick around here that some of them almost share parking lots!

Fort Collins kind of surprised me though, went there for work a few years ago and i've never partied so hard in my life. the bar scene was insane (that's coming from a guy growing up in Ogden lol)

here's a snapshot to show the proximity of the churches around here... this is about 1 square mile

ps... i didn't circle the non-LDS churches

Actually Las Vegas has more churches per capita than any other city in the United States.
And did you know that Las Vegas churches accept gambling chips?
This may come as a surprise to those of you not living in Las Vegas, but there are more Catholic churches there than casinos. Not surprisingly, some worshipers at Sunday services will give casino chips rather than cash when the basket is passed.Since they get chips from many different casinos, the churches have devised a method to collect the offerings. The churches send all their collected chips to a nearby Franciscan monastery for sorting and then the chips are taken to the casinos of origin and cashed in. This is done by the chip monks.

Looks like Jesus is doing well, in spite of the recession.

That surprised me, too.

Fort Collins is a college town / party town, with a fairly substantial gay population.

There is no way Ogden is more "saintly" than Lehi, UT.

Ogden is the hood as far as those of use here are concerned...its ran by Gang members. (Only Peely-and others from Utah-will get this).

Only if you invest untold millions into a movement to deny the constitutional rights of a group of people you don't agree with.

I'm not originally from Ogden, but long enough to know what you mean.

There is a (non LDS) church down the street offering drive-thru prayer.
