I was around the ring of fire in Indonesia this past month. I like to take pictures of volcanoes from the plane when I see them. It is a pretty amazing sight. You see nothing but clouds and all the sudden here is a volcano sticking out the top. The last 3 pictures of the one smoking was interesting. We flew over it on a trip form Semarang Indonesia to Denpasar (Bali) Indonesia only 8 hours before it erupted. Scary to think we were that close to it. Click the link for the story on the eruption.
