That pic does kind of look like that! But he is all GSD.

Look at the tops of his ears. Flys have eaten parts of them off.

Thanks rosebud, AHRMA, and G-man!

TBH, I love animals and G-mans story inspired me to go do this. Still sorry for your loss G-man. Something good came out of something that hurts!

Good man. I bet he will be one very loved part of the family. Flysoff or bronco is what I use on my pups this time of year for the flies.

Cygnus, thanks man, and thanks for the products. Ill try them.

Thanks Reece! I dont know how such a good dog was treated that way. He was dodging traffic on I-35 when they found him. He had a padlock around his neck and some sort of chain remnants. Ive had a lot of GSD's and this one is a little different. Much more strength and he is very GSD guard dog aware. Very stoic while meeting a new person. Wont flinch, blink, or bark, while deciding, at a higher level than Ive seen before. He has a lot of attributes of a police type dog. Who knows his real story but he is so awesome. Very affectionate too.

Both of the fly sprays are for horses and I get the. At BigR. Other feed stores should have them. Petsmart and petco can be hit or miss. My dogs ears looked like yours at this point and in 2 weeks you couldn't Even tell really.

He's doing awesome! House broken, smart, happy, and athletic. I bounced a tennis ball off of a wall, in the back yard, and he did a full flip and caught it in the air! Its like he's been with us the whole time! Ears are healing well too to, thanks to Cygnus!
