I have an amusing story about him.
Elsinore Grand Prix. Used to me a big deal Drawing thousands of spectators and was covered by Wide World of Sports.
Every segment of society would invade our little town (Including Movie stars but mostly Hells Angels and Hippies.)
So here I am this kid in sensory overload watching the bikes and people as i walk around the course and I walk right in front of an ABC camera.
I Back out of the shot and see Economaki singing Splendor in the Grass and I'm wondering WTF is going on.
Then I see behind him two biker dudes wrestling on the ground but not the Hulk Hogan wrestling more like the wrestling that might take place at New Jersey rest stop.
At the time I wondered why I didn't see that on the WWoS broadcast (I was able to do the math on that situation when I was a bit older)
