Did anyone find any rather odd Olympic sports you found yourself getting into?

I found a few, but my #1 is probably Handball. These guys are pretty gnar!! Body slams, blocking and best of all, TONS of scoring. Way fun to watch.

Watched a badminton match go 90 minutes the other day! (i only caught the 3rd set)

Ping Pong (refuse to call it table tennis) is badass!

Woman's field hockey, some of those chicks are seriously HOT!

Im sure there is more i can name, just curious if anyone else found themselves watching sports they had not really gotten into before.

Did you catch Dong Dong from China taking the Silver Medal in the Trampoline event?

Just imagine all the possible names for his children.

Limbo. Why not have a motocross race...they do equestrian. We know the horse does all the work in that sport right ?!

I got into following a few just because their Dad's played in the NFL. Vashti Cunningham - High Jump. Dad is Randall. And Michelle Carter - Shot Put who won the Gold medal in Rio last week. Dad is Michael who was a beast on the defense for the 49ers back in the 80's and was a silver medalist in the '84 Olympics in LA.

Cunningham is in the finals for Women's high jump tomorrow @ 4:30. Pretty cool.

Shame the US didn't have too much success in the rugby 7s but this was a cool story about Nate Ebner who plays for the New England Patriots:

Cool story, had no idea. I don't watch Rugby enough, but the more I watch it the more I like it.
