So I got a pack of 10 drain plug seals in the mail Saturday. Opened the envelope, yep that's what drain plug seals look like. From that point, I have no idea where the hell I put them. I took my dog to play at the park and when I returned I couldn't find them.

I looked everywhere possible, dog toy bag, car, bike in the garage, drawers. Only other possibility is one of the damn cats took it. So I have to order another pack of seals. When they come in I'm sure I will find the original pack.

Told you, no importance what so ever, but I know this shit has happened to you before.

Way back in the day I dropped a rear wheel spacer on the floor of my garage with the door closed and could not find the damn thing. I had to drive 40 miles to buy one since I was racing the next day. When I moved form there I emptied that garage to plain concrete and 4 walls and still never found that spacer.

Workshop Gremlins got it.

I've got them in my garage, too.

I looked around my garage for 20 minutes for my set of allen wrenches. . . Next two days, I did the same thing and couldn't find them. Really didn't want to drop another $30 on a set of wrenches but I needed them. Went and bought a new set, then found the previous set on the workbench under a roll of romex. . . I knew they were on that workbench but just never lifted the damn roll up. . . Oh well. . . no such thing as too many tools huh? I guess it's time to clean the ole workbench off.

The easiest and quickest way to find something is to blame someone else for using it and not returning it ,only then will you find it and feel like a jerk at the same time.

I'm glad to know that kind of stuff haunts other people too. The whole time cleaning out the garage you're secretly hoping you'll find the damn thing to disprove your theory of actual garage trolls that steal shit.

Why do you need 10 drain plug seals. I've never replaced one in 40 years of riding. Guess I'm lucky???

I only need one, but I could go to the Harley shop and pay $5 for one or Amazon and get 10 for $5. Now I'll have to order more but I'm still ahead as long as I change them out every oil change, which probably won't happen because I'll lose them again before the next change.
