My Daughter has her Science project due this Wednesday and she had planned to finalize some research Monday and Tuesday at school.
Thing is Her school has just called off because of the snow storm.
What She needs is a few volunteers to conduct a test (Web site below) to gather Data on People of different ages and Gender.

The Stroop effect in short~ " the stroop effect is a demonstration of interference in the reaction time of a task.".
The test page has a timer and direction on how to perform the test.

If you want to help all you need to do is provide your Age and gender and results after taking the test.
To keep this from being a Competitive deal and more of real honest results please don't give your results here rather email them to Screwjj@yahoo.com

http://www.math.unt.edu/~tam/selftests/stroopeffects.html

Thank-you in advance to those of you willing to volunteer in this test,

Regards
Bill

I knew about it from watching the show on Nat Geo "Brain Games", which did a similar test.

The more I look in to it the more I realize that people's brains work through stuff differently and what looks harder to us may be easier for others.

The second part might be easier for younger folks since their brains don't harp on recognition.

Thxs guys..gals for helping out!
really appreciate it! Need about ten more and she can put the data together on her science board

Thxs again!

Did it... Accidentally put my age as 20 I'm actually 21 not that it makes a huge difference but I just realized I messed up.

Does taking the test forward the results to her project or are we supposed to send the times to the Screwjj link?

Here ya go, I would like to thank each of you for participating because she wouldn't of had as many to go by without your help.

Hope you learned more about decision reaction time as I did and how some people that are ADHD have a better reaction time.
That would be a whole new Graph as to see how good the decision making process is between ADHD folks vs The Norm.

Thanks again Guys/Gals!!

Female 10-20 that explains why Girls decide so fast if they like a guy or not, I bet if it was studied it would go all the way back to being able to pick a good mate.

One Chick was faster on test 2 than she was on test 1.

Dono if thats true or not but thats why the average was so low on that age range.
Who am I to judge i just gave my Daughter The results.
