All the original cast Star Trek movies were a big hit with me as a kid (even the Whale one). More so than Star Wars.
Indiana Jones
Young Sherlock Holmes
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
James Bond (Roger Moore especially).
Predator, Commando, Total Recall, Red Heat etc (Anything with Arnie)
Back to the Future.

We must be the same age. Great list. Adding to it: The Outlaw Josey Wales, Halloween, and Animal House.

Footloose (Kevin Bacon).

In fact, I took this picture at the local high school football game Friday night, and the mill in the middle Far right of the picture was were the movie was filmed.

We rarely went to the movie theater when I was a kid, never had cable TV either. However, my friend down the street had cable AND a VCR so these are the movies that he taped and we would watch over and over during summer vacation. His dad taped a lot of them and he really liked Chuck Norris and Sylvester Stallone movies.

The first movie I remember going to at the theater without my parents was Back To The Future.

Its a mad mad mad mad world.

One of the funniest movies ever. Ever star of the day was in it. Youd have to see it to believe me.

Made in the late 60s i think. Bought the vhs tapes of it when my 1st daughter was born ,it is long,2 tapes.

We wore it out,no profanity, Jonathan winters is just classic in it.

The 3 stooges were firemen at the end,Joe ,Moe and Larry, think curly and shemp had passed on by then.
