I bet I still never hear of them. Oh wait, I guess technically I've now heard of them.

Yep, 3 kids with a redicules idea just becsme billionaires. My son does a lot of work for them and is a bit nervous, but he's 17 so I think he'll survive.

I wouldn't hold your breath. I'm a Microsoft guy, but they really have a horrible record with bought out IP, especially when it comes to games.

The minecraft game was innovative and different, and its success sparked a whole new genre. The downfall might not actually be the fault of Microsoft in this case, as there are already games based on the same premise with better graphics and features.

Whatever happens in the future, the initial devs are certainly worthy of some respect for building something both retro and fresh.
