7 iron tournament? I assume that would be where you can only use a 7 iron and you drink a lot of beers? Sounds like fun! Smile

Yeah. It's an executive course. 5 par 3's and 4 par 4's. The format is scramble which means everybody in the group hits from the best previous shot. Including puts. It's a charity event for Council for Exceptional Children.

Billy butler steals a base? Am I asleep?
And scored from first! What is going on? I literally jumped off the couch and stood up staring at the TV smiling like an idiot for a good 15 minutes after Holland struck out Trout to end the game. This has been amazing to watch.

AL is set. NL still has some business to finish.

This home plate ump is fucked up Void. Everything is a strike unless it's over the plate.

Just got home from a race club meeting and to a TV. Turned it on just in time to see LA tie it up 1-1. I should have stayed gone. Smile I drove right by the stadium on the way home. I should have stopped in.

Yeah, he should have called that first one a strike. Smile
The guy had a random strike zone. it's too bad when the officials have that much influence on the game. It didn't explain all the Dodger's woes, check swing strike outs are like walking the pitcher with the bases loaded. I guess they didn't know what to do with Yadier's uncle calling balls and strikes.

Back at ya tomorrow.

One more thing, in baseball, you will not see the announcers come out and admit that the officiating sucked when the game's over. In football they do it all the time.

I think the Cardinals and Dodgers will go 5 games. I don't see them beating Kershaw twice in a row.

True. Gruden is the worst at it and it really annoys me. "Well after watching three slow mo replays from three different angles, I've determined the officials suck and really messed up that call."

I wish they would have left instance replay out of baseball. Hell, I wish they would have left it out of football too as far as that goes. I haven't watched a football game this year.

Nationals look a bit like a little league team at the moment. Giants are definitely tough though.

I'm so shocked that it's going to be the Giants or the Cardinals coming from the NL. That never happens.

I don't want to jinx it but it would be so cool to have an all Missouri world series. There would be 20 people tuned in to watch and I would love it! Smile

I don't watch much if any Baseball but while dinning at a local Sports pub last week I got hooked. Seems like (Maybe it's just me) but the underdawgs are winning?
Last night with the game tied bases loaded no outs the KC Royals at bat top of the 9th some how some way the Orioles got one out then a double play getting them out of the jamb..

I was like holy shit no way did that just happen KC was sitting so good to win the game and now they're not looking so good. Then Orioles have a 3 up 3 down strike out to go to extra innings.

So now the dude who got hit in the neck with a 75MPH ball! hits a HR and a couple bats later they hit another one.

Baseball...who knew it could get so interesting to watch, I was the one always saying shit like "The game just doesn't move fast enough for me to watch" or "WTF or all these statistics for?"

Well...that last one is still bizarre to me but I think i'll keep watchin to get a gripWhistling

Great game last night with San Francisco and St. Louis. Those two will go at least six games. Hopefully ALCS Game 3 doesn't get rained out today.

Last I heard it was going to rain here all day, night and tomorrow. It hasn't stopped here since sometime last night.

I think you meant until Tuesday. Smile It's going to be tough going for the Cards without Molina. He's a HUGE part of the team.

Very uncharacteristic of the Cardinals to make that mistake late like that. How long will Molina be out?

Royals are one win away from heading back to the World Series. Some outstanding defense being played by the Royals. They've been doing it all season though so I'm not surprised.

Go Royals! Many people in the office where out yesterday and today going to the game. Holy crap, 1 win away from World Series.
The game was over approx. 10pm cst last night. They where finally kicking people out of the stadium at 1:30am.

I'm worried for the Cards after letting that one get away yesterday. They might be done, especially without Yadi.

THE KANSAS CITY ROYALS ARE GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES!!! Sorry guys but this is something us Kansas City fans haven't experienced since 1985 unless you're a soccer fan. Something I haven't experienced my entire life.

Cardinals and Giants are like two heavyweight fighters just going at it. They're trading blows inning by inning and answering each other's hits.
