I love welding stainless. I am a welder, but we don't do anything pretty like that. All my shit just gets smashed by trains.

Part of my apprenticeship as a mold maker included welding for repairing damaged tools. Now that I'm in a union shop,we can't even look at a welding machine.

That's some beautiful work. TIG is the ultimate in control. You can basically move at any pace that works for you. Especially if the job requires that kind of appearance. MR.X posted a pic of what looks like maybe a 2" stainless, weld neck flange weld. I knew a guy that could lay a bead like that in carbon steel pipe with a stick welder. I've welded lots of pipe but it never looked like that.

I had my wifes cousin send that pic to me ,that is his handy work . His shop got the contract because he was working there ,they don't have certified pressure vessel welders except him.
