Kava Kava is bad. Try Valerian root. Smells like an old foot but has roughly the same effect but without the bad effects.
Trying to create a calming effect and handle sore muscles? If you are I would use Magnesium Citrate and GABA. Magnesium Citrate is a pretty good muscle relaxer and GABA is a neurotransmitter inhibitor. Oh and it is just an amino acid.

And don't forget that mag citrate is a powerful laxative--often used to cleanse the bowel for surgical procedures. Liquid dynamite the residents call it.

Yea, makes for simple and obvious dosing.

Wasn't a fan of kava either, Valerian is good but usually puts me to sleep, and stinks so badly. But I still prefer it.
