The guys here at the shop taught my youngest son how to blow up a 20 ounce plastic bottle by taping it to the end of an air hose then turning the air on at 150 psi. LOUD shit! They also showed him how to shoot a tampon over 100 ft. through the shop.Laughing

Newmann I'm all for the 2nd amendment brother, I don't own a gun and never will, but little kids playing with sex toys, really? I totally understand now what the message is, and it's true, look Andy when I first moved to the suburbs I had a hard time adjusting in school, when I finally made a friend no sooner then 2 weeks later his brother shot and killed him by accident, I was devastated, did that change my views on gun ownership? Another good way is to make a dry ice bomb. We used to make these at our lake house and throw them out on the lake and wait for them to blow up. Sounded like a bomb exploding when they blew. Then we started sinking them and it would shake the whole dock and spray water every where like a bomb exploded under water.

I feel that the ad is AMAZINGLY good.

Those are all inanimate objects. They are not "good" or "bad" or "dirty". They are just objects.

It is how they are USED that gets them categorized. Kinda like guns, right?

A child has no idea what their intent is, from an adults perspective, so their minds are free to imagine any use for them possible.

An adult knows their intended purpose, and knows they should be "hidden" or "secured".

A child does not know their intended purpose, so they would not think twice about "playing" with them out in the open.

I think that is a great ad campaign.

Yeah, yeah yeah, if Child Protection Services knocked on your door and your kids were running around the house in fuzzy handcuffs swinging dildo's with blown up condoms and tampons everywhere there would be hell to pay. The ads are nothing more than "shock value" because they had nothing better to run on. I'm sure things are different in Norway but here in the US there seems to be a growing lack of common sense.

While they make a point, they also have plenty of people giggling and chuckling and missing the point.

Maybe all the sex toys were photoshopped into the pictures and the kids never knew what the final product looked like.

That, combined with the fact that the target audience is adults, not kids, makes the criticism seem a little over the top.

Man , this is pretty much an adult forum , I say leave it. I got a chuckle out of it AND I think it sends a " good " message if people actually think about it. Playing with a 12" dildo is a hell of a lot safer than about 1000 other things they could be playing around with.
