We have tons of hawks 'round here, sombitches got a bunch of my hens a few years ago and cant free range here because of 'em. Also have a mating pair of Crested Caracara, them two will haul off cats, pooches, whatever else that moves. When I cut hay they follow me in the air lookin' for jackrabbits to run out.
