HMFTD! I do prefer the deep fried turkey also. I'm just doing mine oldschool in the oven and basting every 20-30 minutes.

Wow how big was the bird! !

For an 18lb bird it usually takes 3.5- 4 hrs.

That pic is from a few years ago,, this year we went to family for turkey dinner so we are going to smoke a bird this Saturday as I'm going riding tomorrow.

Void I wanted to have Jake home for Thanksgiving so I could give him a big heart felt hug. He hurt his back and not racing Mini O's this year, but he had to go watch and I couldn't deny him. Anyway just wanted to wish you the best through the holiday season.

Beer was involved G-Man and I kept letting the coals go out. This year was alot better.

Ahhh that makes more sense now. Hehehe

Went for a trail ride and the RUTS were much deeper after the historic rains we had this year during the monsoon season

if you blow this picture up you can see the the depth of them.

I loaded it from my phone so you never know

Today we smoke the bird in the Weber took exactly four hours
19 pounder fresh turkey very tasty. Smile

Well the 4 days off from the salt mine are coming to an end.

So with that decided to ride up to the lake can't believe 84 degrees and it's going to be December tomorrow.

hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving holiday. Smile
