The pressure cooker is cranked up over here, was 108 heat index here yesterday, zero breeze. Mowed hay all day and almost stroked.

Whats the weather like for you folks? Send me a cool front already.

Yes was sweating ferrociously shooting skeet. Man it's annoying when your safety glasses fog up like goggles on the startin gate.

No pressure cookers in the Newmann house. Just saying.

Spent half the day Saturday rebuilding my blast cabinet. Sandblast cabinet for the politically correct. It was very hot and was a very messy job. New glass, new gloves, new media and seam sealed all the panel seams so it wouldn't leak all over the place. Cleaned out the vacuum system and she works like a champ

About 65 here yesterday, and I rode. Nothing to complain about, except how bad I sucked on the bike. You'd think I'd be USED to that now.

I'll be down in Houston Monday, then driving down to Victoria for the day, then up to Fort Worth on Tuesday through Friday. Visit with BHP Billiton then off to visit Waukesha Pearce- heard of them?

Was in Houston earlier this year when you guys had all the major flooding..

Hopefully not that hot next week!

It's been a hot sumbitch this year. Low 90's feel great after you have triple digits and swamp-ass humidity

I worked the oil fields in Texas and Oklahoma during the summers back in the late 70s when I was in high school and it was hot and humid and then when I moved to Colorado in 1981 I was working and it was like 85 degrees out and no humidity and the guys were whining like little girls and to me it was just a warm spring day. But now I hate the heat.

Popped in here expecting Honda of Troy stuff. About 80 here today and got our first rain in what seems like all summer. Over 8" rainfall deficit for the year and 12" for two years, drought for sure, well water is starting to smell funny. Gonna kill foliage this year, no chlorophyll in leaves.

107 today...finally cooled down. Saw 131 at work one day this summer. Oh and before you say oh it's a dry heat when I saw the 131 I was about 15-20 miles from the ocean. Holy mother of God was it stupid hot.

I need a Shiner Bock and some brisket in this weather.

I hear ya on the Humid deal, Moved from Delta, Ohio to here Back in 98,
Remember working (Construction) and the Hot Humid days not bothering me one bit.

Go back and visit Family/Friends and make a point to do it in October thru November.
Just can't enjoy the visit having to feel like taking a shower every hour of the day. Sucks getting oldLaughing
Love Ohio/Michigan in the Fall. Hell I like anywhere in the Fall, always been the best time of year IMO.

Lol Been a while for me too. The best chain burger out there, nothing else even comes close. I've eaten all over this continent, and they wear the crown.

Took a trip back to Toronto out of Cali, and got out of the truck when I shut down for the night in Nebraska. Ack. Fucking humidity. Normally just run Alberta to Cali and back, the only time you experience humidity is when it rains. Next night was in Benton Harbour Mi, and I refuse to sleep with the truck idling. Charming experience. Spent a total of 7 days in that shit, and don't miss it one bit. Or the fucking TRAFFIC. You're right Bill, fall is the best time to be there, especially for riding.

Nice, I have to finish off my last bottle of Allsups Spicy Ketchup over here first. Seeing the wifey next month, maybe she will be a peach and hook me up with some new stuff.

Very cool summer here. It was hot but very few really hot days and most cooled way down at night.
So much so I never really noticed summer.

Frost this week at least one day. Close to it every day since. Supposed to be nice next week but no heat wave here.
