and go shootin'. Took three handguns out this weekend that I haven't shot or shot regularly and ran some rounds through them. Getting better, but still leave a lot to be desired. These were shot at 15 yards with a bag rest. Many more were shot standing, unsupported at 10 -15 yards. Those pics will not be made available to the public...yet.
The hardware. Glock 17L long slide 9mm, Sig Scorpion TB 45, Colt M45A1 Marine CQBP 45.
The targets were stick on 3 inch dots. First up was the Colt. Never shot it before so not sure what to expect or where exactly the point of aim would be. Full 7 round mag with the intent of a 5 shot group. All was going well for the first four stacked nicely. Then totally blew the fifth. Went ahead with the other two and stacked them both....one good and one in the straggler. Amazing gun, Colt did good refining the 100 year old design.
Next up was the Sig Scorpion. Haven't shot in in about a year. Full 8 round mag. Again , one flyer down and to the right. Think that has something to do with me being a lefty.
Haven't spent much time with the Glock 17L and have a few upgrades on order for it. Thought I would get something on paper to compare to. Full 17 round mag shot fairly quick. Probably could have gotten this one a bit tighter if I had slowed down a little. Still, none went too far off course. Very impressive for a fairly inexpensive gun. Going to be spending some quality time with this one in the near future.
So, that's where I'm at. Let's see some hand "gun control" from the rest of you responsible gun owners.

Just built a new gun up the other day. I haven't shot it yet, but I'm thinking it will be pretty fun
Remington 870 dropped into a bullpup frame:
It may not be very practical for anything other than killing bowling pins or an intruder, but it sure is fun to look at haha
I'll grab some more photos tonight after I shoot it.
I was lucky enough to win a free gift card to Cabelas and heard that Glock is going to quit making the compensated models and they have peaked my interest.
Currently own Glock models 22 and 23 and was looking at the model 23C or a Gen3/Gen4 model 27.
The Shop
Second target was a 6 rnd. burst. Not sure what happened with #6.
All free hand, 2 handed grip.
I am a South Paw (lefty) also. I use both R/L. Rifles, they both work. Sight rifle properly.
I wondered if there was a throttle for Lefty's. Typically a South Paw's left arm is Stronger. I wonder if they would be able to turn the throttle faster, harder?
Good luck hunting
She has wanted the Ruger LCR for her new carry weapon, I heard some good things about the S&W Shield so I took a chance on it. Hope to get something on the paper this weekend.
Just crazy that I used to stroll into Wally World anytime, day or night and bought .Bonus Boxes of .22 with no limit. And on the cheap. Crazy world we live in today.
My 715T and 10/22 have not been out much due to the scarcity of .22 ammo.
Gritted my teeth and paid 12.99 per/hundy for the CCI's. I used to pay less for 1000 rounds of .223 for my Mini 14!
Price for the Speer/Blazer Brass - 11.99 for the 9mm, 17.99 for the .38's.
What price on ammo is everyone seeing in their area and what is the availability? Just interested.
Pit Row
Winchester Model 70 .270 - American Staple..
This is my Mini 14, built this to eliminate Muslims, Liberals/NONPatriots and Home grown Terrorists when shit hits the fan
before paint...
after paint
and my favorite plinker Marlin 22 model 60
But my favorite and weapon of choice
I love those little Marlin model 60s, I think one of those will be my next gun. I made the mistake of trading one for my 10/22 takedown, which I love, but I shot that Marlin waaaay better than I shoot my 10/22
Look up other different calibers too...

Yea, the Marlin is more accurate than the 10/22. I have both but realy love this Marlin. Changed out the trigger with a billet group and guard which really helped out a lot and the original stock had to go. Has a weak point at the grip which causes them to break with little misuse. I don't try to misuse but I'm hard on everything... The wife and her friends don't call me Thrasher for no reason :-)
I was thinking about getting an inexpensive 22 long rifle for my wife and I to learn on. Any good recomendations in the $250 range? I saw a Remington advertised at a local gun shop for about $240. I know this won't be the cream of the crop, just looking for a starter weapon.
Or get a Henry
