Ok fellas.
If you like a little rock.
Here is some new stuff from an old golf buddy of mines new band.
These are the first 2 songs. I might be jaded but I think they are pretty good.

JTOM - thanks for teh voodoo.

For me, that SRV version in that Austin city limits concert is the single best guitar performance of all time.

I never get tired of watching that. Cool

That group is called Love Said No.
Erik can sing and has talent.
He just needs to find that sound to push him over the top.
He was in the group Stereomud (2 records with Capital) Then Soundevice. They didn't do much.
Now he is with these guys. They are their first songs together. They have others and some I like better than those I posted. But they are not on You Tube.

Local H, best 2 man gig ever.

Im sure you heard a few of there songs on the radio before "All the kids are right" "Bound to the floor" ect. Had more then the avg. Hit songs but never exploded into spot light. Under played on the radio, ect.
Called Nirvana wanna be's, and ect. They do sound alike in more then a few songs, sometimes I cant even tell them from Foo Fighters when im barley paying attention.

But they Just released there new Album 12 Angry Months, on the 13th, real good album, i dont think as good as the others, but I haven't listened to it much yet, still a stellar album.

I saw Local H at some small bars in South Bend in the early 90's.
I thought they were locals.. Where are they from??
I guess "you high five'n mother f#@ker" was my favorite tune by them.

One of my favorite SRV clips, and a song I loved to learn how to play. My tones aren't right, but most of my notes are. Luckily I have a Strat to recover at least some of those tones.

Lynyrd Skynyrd was at their best here:

http://concerts.wolfgangsvault.com/...ncert/2457-4320.html

They've put a lot more old concerts up since the last time I checked in at the vault.

They are from chicago. I think you probaly some them when the black guy Joe was there drummer, Joe went on to do other things that never went off. This is around the time time when Brain first came along to drum for them.
