Any of you out there use it? Quality? Decent shave....etc? I currently use Gillette Fusion. I love it but, the price of blades is crazy. Thank you.

Worth it by a mile. Havent used a gillette in a few years now. Same for the shave cream. Use shave secret and havent looked back.

I use it and I love it.... not used to changing blades that often though. Seems like a good value to me. I give my son access to blades too. I'm not real hairy so I really don't need to change blades once a week.

I gave them a shot. Had to go back to the gillete Mach 5. The shave just wasn't as good as the Mach 5 and I dulled one in 3 shaves. I get close to ten shaves f on the gillete. The other part was the ingrown hairs. Lots of em. Saved a lot of money just letting my beard grow all winter. Just recently shaved and of course now it's snowing.

Give it a shot, if you don't like them just cancel. They've been solid for me, and convenient.

Safety razor. 100 razors for about $10. Even changing blades every shave I come out ahead.

I've heard good things about Dollar Shave Club. Grocery store razor prices are insane.

I haven't changed my razor in about 8 months. I only shave about every 3 or 4 days. I don't use any kind of shaving cream either. Just hop in the shower, get my face wet for a bit. The water softens up the hair, then shaving doesn't hurt at all. I'm not real hairy, so it probably wouldn't work if you get a good 5:00 shadow on the day you shave. I tried the dollar shave club, and the first shave felt like I was sanding my face off. Not good for me. Mach 5 is what I use.

I tried Harry's and Dollar.....went back to Mach 5.......much better shave. I get 2 weeks from a blade as I never run water direct on the blade and keep it dry.

I'm sure a lot if it is that I've been using a Gillette since I was 16 and my face is accustom to the blade and the spacing of the blades.

Try the Schick Hydro. I used that stinkin' Mach 5 for years and finally noticed the Schick Hydro. The blades are a bit cheaper and last way longer. Not only that, but the slick stuff lasts way longer than the Gillette. The Schick Hydro blades for sensitive skin last even longer.

Just try it...you'll see. Cheaper, last longer, better shave.

Local barbershop does straight blades for $6. I go in once a week usually or every two weeks. I don't Have to be clean shaved everyday.

+1 on the shick hydro. That razor is smooth and super sharp. Closer than gilletes. But the new Gillette that contours to your face is pretty awesome. No Knicks.

I used one of my wife's schick razor's with three blades and it worked amazingly but the blade dulled faster than the mach 5. I really don't like that slick stuff on the blade anyways. Seems to leave a film on my face.

Honestly, friend, I have had the exact opposite experience, but I'm talking about the men's blades with five blades.

Another trick a lot of guys are unaware of...

You can sharpen your disposable razor blades. Yep. Open your left palm (if you're right handed) and take the razor on the thick part of your palm and push it forward over and over again. 20 times will do it. You know how they strop razors in a barbershop with a leather strop? Same idea, but using the "leather" of your palm. Try it. It works.

Having said that, with Schick blades, I've had to do that MUCH less. I usually do it after a month of shaving with one cartridge, and then only if I'm short on refills. And here is the deal...not only is my beard tough like a Mohave thicket, but my skin is a tad on the sensitive side. I'm telling you - try the Schick Hydro for sensitive skin and you'll never go back. Cheaper, better, adjustable. What's not to like?

Dollar shave club is just a middle man. Order directly from their supplier and save even more money.

I still use a mach 3. I'm thinking about trying this new one out. Not sure how close I'll be able to get to the yam bag with it though.

Lol. Sometimes it seems like that's what the industry is moving towards. I used to use a mach 3 then switched to the 5 and liked it instantly a lot better. Tried going back to the 3 because they were cheaper, and it felt terrible on my face.

Update......4+ years later, I canceled today. Blades were good, never had an issue. Handle was absolute junk. Constantly locking up, loosing the ability to flex/pivot. Was going through a couple of handles a year. Not impressed.

This is where it's at!

I've graduated to a straight razor now though. Strop it and take care of it, won't cost me a dime the rest of my life
