Signed a two year deal with Ducati. Good for him! I was hoping cal would stay with yamaha and get more money and get the factory seat in 2015. How do you think he will do on the Ducati?

Almost as good as Dovi.
Bike is really hurting.
At least he will get a big paycheck.

I think he is just as good or better than Dovi! Dovi has been on factory bikes before. He should of stayed at yamaha one more year and move to factory when the spot opened but , after seeing what they were offering I don't blame him. What a joke for being a top 5 rider.

He will go from being a podium guy to being a guy fighting for 8th.

Ask Nicky or Valentino.

not a fan of the move, Yamaha offered him a contract to stay at Tech trois, I think Cal should have requested a 1-yr deal and went after the Suzuki factory seat in 2015. before they exited the sport, Alvaro Bautista had the bike running 5th-8th on a regular basis and Cal is faster than Alvaro.

Tech3 has signed Pol Espargaro to a 2-yr deal, and Scott Redding has officially stated he will be in MotoGP next season as well, just not with who.

I saw somewhere that with the new engine-leasing deal for 2014, Colin Edwards will be Yamaha-powered again.

I would rather see alex on that bike. Who is Redding going to ride for?

I hope Cal gets a bike that has been sorted out. The duc is not good at all. It has been a career killer for everybody but Stoner.

How much would they pay to get him back?

Not enough because he could just walk back to honda and have a bike that is much better and an instant shot at another championship.

Can't wait to see if Crutchlow constantly mouths off about the Duc or if he'll keep his mouth shut just because he's finally getting paid.

looks like either Scott will be taking Ben's seat at Pramac Ducati, no way Ducati is getting rid of Iannone. or with his current Moto2 squad MarcVDS Racing. Marc Van Der Straten is a billionaire from Belgium and is keen on having a team in the premier class and is a big fan of Scott's and I don't think he wants to lose him. Aprilia might also get in the mix, with a factory-esque team.

Thought spies had a two year deal and didn't hear about Aprilla factory. Iannone was my favorite moto2 rider, he was one of the only ones that could beat MM. IMHO Iannone is more talented than BS SR and PS but the bike is killing all the Ducati riders.

Well, maybe that will quiet down those two Brit homers who do the MotoGP broadcast. Crutchlow's fantastic, but those two guys are insufferable when he's anywhere in the top five.
