Here's something fer ya.

If they still made thousand dollar bills it takes a stack 4 inches tall to make a million dollars.

A billion bucks of thousand dollar bills would be 333 feet tall.

A trillion bucks stack of thousand dollar bills would be 63 miles tall.

When I was a kid (18), Insurance wrote me a check for my KZ1000 that someone totaled. I went to the bank
and cashed the check, they gave me 3 $1,000 bills. I don't think you could get your hands on one of those today
if you tried.

Neither canidate will fix the debt, however I trust Hillary to fix it more than Trump. Bill fixed the debt. Raising taxes to pay for what we have is the correct fix, of course she's missing the cut spending part.
Trump plans on cutting taxes, and fixing the debt by growing the economy so hugely the government will have a growing income. Kinda like cutting prices on merchandise to sell more. Except the United States economy is way more complex than a business, and thus taxes aren't the only variable. I'm sure China would love to renogiatiate after he puts tariffs on Chinese products... Pinch

Either way, don't expect the national debt to go away in the next 4 to 8 years. And it won't until we realize just how little we pay in tax. Whistling

Whatever works, it all spends! Cool

The true solution for the debt is to budget spending according to GDP. We'd need to raise taxes and cut spending according to today's values, but if a Trump-ish economy boom raised gross domestic product, we'd have more tax revenue and could afford tax cuts.
The economy is indeed more complex than any single business, but it really does boil down to all the same principles.

Anyone remember Pablo Escobar counting money by driving forklifts onto scales.?

And the island off the east coast with all the planes shoved in the ocean around it.

The US has descended into identity politics where the real problems of the nation just don't matter. Instead we are talking about Donald Trump groping women in 2005.
The scariest thing about the US is the abysmal ignorance of our society.
I would wager that the majority of Americans would not even know what a deficit is if you asked them. Never mind having any sort of understanding whatsoever of the situation we are in.

Trump was right when he said that Mexico was going to pay for the wall being built. They'll be building it to keep Americans from flooding into Mexico looking for work.

They try to make it complicated. A country, like an individual gets out of debt by production. America used to be a production powerhouse. It's how we won WWII.

I think $500 and $1000 bills are even illegal to possess. Change was to make moving large sums of cash more difficult.

There needs to be a law that if the house and senate cannot agree to a balanced budget then they are all thrown out of office. Bet they could agree to a balanced budget then. You should not spend more then you take in. It's a very basic principal. Something our leaders couldnt care less about. The solution is not more taxes. The solution is to cut spending. Period.

Judging from this graph, it seems we did pretty well for about 220yrs until we decided to go global and farm out our products and jobs to other countries. It seems we would do well to reign some of that loss back in and collect those taxes from employees and employers.

I saw a study the other day that showed almost 9million Americans were ACTIVELY SEEKING employment in the second quarter of 2016. Imagine how much tax revenue would be collected on 9 million more people who pay a few thousand in taxes each year. This is my reasoning for agreeing with a certain candidates economic policies. It's everyone's problem, fix it by collecting money from all instead of collecting more from a few.

I will send America two of my Bills, to pay off the American Debt. However, I want unlimited riding at Glen Helen with McGrath and Monster Energy Girls.
