Colin Powell on the election and the ecomony

Excluding people who are already Obama supporters, 90% of the people who listen to those statements will say he is backing Obama because he is black. That is the country we live in today.

Colin Powell is just pissed that no one in the Republican Party thinks he has anything worthwhile to add. So he's trying to milk his final 15 minutes of fame pandering to Obama.

Colin Powell has more greatness in his little finger than John Sunnunu, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell and John Boehner have in their entire bodies.

You try to tear down this man why? Because he dares to back who he believes is the best candidate, regardless of party and gives a reasoned explanation of why?

You stay classy, Worcsracer

You seem more pissy then usual WR. Just ramping up for the election or is there a bur stuck in your saddle in the form of some personal/business aggravations?

By the way, I'm going to put Colin Powell in the same category as Condi Rice and John Huntsmen, reasonable, smart, level headed folks.

10/27/2012 12:05 PM

Now what?

10/27/2012 1:40 PM

So if Powell says he wasn't color blind when he made his decision what does that tell us about him? Obamafart you can race bait all you want, but even people with average intelligence like me see right thru your BS.

I met Colin Powell in Saudi when he and Dick Cheney came over to give us a pep talk during Desert Shield, right before Desert Storm. I wish he would have ran for president, I would have voted for him. He would have been 100 times better than Obama. I would vote for him if he ran today.

Sec-Powell is one of my Heroes.

I simply disagree w/ him on this.

Matthes. He's SO Hot this year. Matthes.

What a dumbass statement & completely offensive article. Unfortunately when the left stoops to this level it proves your complete desperation.

No but considering how a you, Sammy and assgas feel about Iraq and WMD's its interesting that the man who sold the Invasion of Iraq and the existence of WMD's to the UN and the world is now your paragon of truth and rational behavior.

10/27/2012 4:30 PM

Colin Powell did his job, the job requested of the Commander in Chief, his boss.
By the way, I have never been the conspiracy guy regarding Iraq, never.
Matter of fact, I initially supported our invasion of Iraq. I believed what I was told by my President.
It was later I disagreed with the war, but I never claimed it was a conspiracy to purposely enter us into a war.

Dick Cheney shouldn't be allowed to breathe the same air as Colin Powell........

Apparently, Wilkerson was right.

Republicans freed the slaves, supported the Little Rock Nine's right to attend school and is the party of MLK. The Democrats of course can proudly claim the legacy of succession from the union to preserve slavery, elected a ku klux klan member to the senate, stood in the doorway of schools to keep blacks out and has denigrated blacks to no end by destroying the black family unit via welfare.

Sam you're nothing but a race baiting piece of trash. Btw good ol' Dave has the honor of being banned for using the "n" word. Ya you guys are awesome.

It's also absolutely untrue and there has never been a shred of credible evidence to support it. Btw why are we in Libya? I assume that little shindig is five by five with you?

No, you just won't open your eyes up to the evidence. That's too bad, but oh well.....

Where are you getting any sort of information about my feelings concerning Libya?

Exactly

And I am not an Obama supporter.

Colin Powell has more presidential qualities in his pinky finger than Obama has in his entire body. If only Powell had run. I lost a bit of respect for him when he didn't but I still have more respect for him than anyone in politics.

Apparently, Wilkerson was right.

Yeah, but we hate mexicans more

Anti-Hispanic feelings
Most Americans expressed anti-Hispanic sentiments, too. In an AP survey done in 2011, 52 percent of non-Hispanic whites expressed anti-Hispanic attitudes. That figure rose to 57 percent in the implicit test. The survey on Hispanics had no past data for comparison.

Come on, this is weak. I think it only fair to disclose what the questions were they asked. If they were along the lines of "Do you like hip-hop music?"..."Can you name the last 5 NBA champions?"..."Who was the better comedian, Pryor or Carlin?"....then I think we have a biased and missleading survey

I'm just posting an AP poll. If you're ashamed of the like results of the poll, maybe you should reconsider your own positions.
