That wheelchair looks great and very well built. But there's no chance in hell I would go down a rocky hill in one.

Kudos to that guy.

Wow that's pretty cool, it's amazing what people in wheel chairs can do these days!

That's so badass! That looks like fun even if you don't need one.

Way back in the day before these downhill chairs were made, we went to bicycle shops and had them lace up mtn bike rims on our wheelchair hubs. We would go up into the Santa Cruz mtns and hit up the hiking trails.

I will never forget one day we were there and a couple forest rangers called me and my bro Dave over to come check out the wheelchair accessible trail they were building. We checked it out and said thats cool and thanked them, then said ok we are going up the hiking trail. They looked at us like we were aliens LOL Gotta remember, this was back in the late 80's and disability awareness was no where near what it is today.

By the time we got to the top of the hiking trail, the two rangers came over and watched us come flying down it and were blown away.

Good times!

Scottie, are guys still using spinergy wheel sets? I remember seeing a few on chairs back in the early 2000's but haven't seen that many lately.
