Pretty cool possibilities. Seems like a no brainer idea now that I've seen it.

Thanks for posting

Yeah that's very cool! Years ago I started a thread on here, about cam-less technology! I had found some articles on valves being actuated by electronic plunger type deals!

I've seen that one before, it's interesting stuff. Imagine infinite 'cam profiles' and timing settings based on engine speed and engine load.

I don't keep up with the latest in F1 tech, I think they still use cams but use pneumatics in place of valve springs.

Good thing Harley doesn't use this technology....the chem trails would be insane! Their bikes might possibly be un- rideable!

Very nice.

Do push rods count as having a cam on the crank? Is that considered camless?

This video is very boring. Can they make another video where they don't explain everything twice and where they actually show the valve opening and closing more than once?

I can't believe they are still using pressurized air and think they are innovative. Electromagnetism will be the next leading design for valve operation. Or maybe we won't be using valves by then, hopefully. Changing linear forces into rotational acceleration is a terrible waste of energy.

Look ...I'm just glad Harley doesn't use this technology.....those bikes have way too much power as it is ...not to mention the weight loss! Shocked
