Yep, country girls are always better than the city ones who hafta spend an hour putting on a face every day. What I see first thing in the morning is the same thing I see when I go to bed at night. She can unload a truckbed of feed at the barn with no problem and can dig postholes with a drop auger as fast as any guy too.

Ya, know Arkansas could use a few more Yankees. We moved here when I was 4 (from near Chicago)...it took me until Junior High before I knew that there wasn't supposed to be an adjective in front of the word "Yankee"...

Does she still have horses? Yeah we just sold two and now only have two. She ride and competes in reigning. Doing pretty well at it also. She grew up riding and we were lucky enough to be able to afford them a few years back. She is actually leading her catagories in the DHA and CHA regions. I think that is the reigning associations. She won six buckles last year and almost went to Nats. . Missed by 1/2 point or something like that. She is competeting for fun and it makes her happy so I am all for it. As I said she is a working fool. She is helping me rehab from an operation and also consulting on my former buisness which she did the books for and also takes care of eveything elso I feel like a useless piece of s#@$ now. I did just chnge some light bulbs in the ceiling. HA

Folks who show Reining are a rare bunch, not many people do that particular class much. Takes alot of guts to go full blast straight toward the end of a arena and put on the brakes and slide 'em. The 360s look cool when done right as well. Cool stuff, tell her keep up the good work. Ask her if she's heard of Buddy Roulston. Hes from here and a very reknowned Reining trainer. |

She probably has. Her trainer is Mike Berg. He is Buddies with Craig Schmershall(sp). They actually ride MX. Heard Scmershall just got an amazing toy hauler. I think he is in OK. Mike is from Montana but lives here in Temecula area.
Her horse is Roosters Raphael, Rudy. He is know for his stops. Yeah its fun to watch her let fly. |
