Wonderful. I can't wait for the government to "lose" the data that points to whomever is responsible for "accidentally" liquidating 10 political rivals with killer robots. Oh yeah, and for the hackers of the world to reprogram the bots to attack the good guys. You know that's going to happen.

All valid points. A lot of people will of course dismiss such notions as tin foil hat stuff but these things will come, in a way it's unavoidable. With the possibility of robots the size of insects that can fly round and deliver a lethal dose to a target that initially barely notices.... pretty worrying technology that'll one day be open to abuse.

Real robots are coming very, very soon, and they will be incredible. This is my biggest fear for the future. Autonomous robots that apart from the materials will be very much like a terminator only smarter and faster.

They're not far off. 10 years from now we'll start buying robots to do all the chores around the house. In 15-20 years robots will be absolutely amazing. They will be hacked,
Like any technology, they'll be used for good and for bad.
