Anyone who lives somewhere that gets real weather would laugh at this "storm." Tons of precipitation and even some high winds in some places, but that's about it. I didn't see any flooding or have a hard time getting home from work tonight.

They're making a pretty big fuss over here saying Northern California, WA, and OR are getting smashed with 2 dead in OR...

Parts of Nor-Cal had some localized flooding and it sounds like some of SoCals drain-sewer systems were over loaded during he storm mid-week.

It was only some rain. But it rains the hardest during passing periods... I teach in a portable building and at one point the rain on the roof was too loud to talk over. The portable beside me started leaking and got a bunch of books wet

We don't get the same weather as the "coast" or even the Seattle area, so I usually don't check their weather unless I am traveling over there. Not sure if Seattle got hit by the big storm, but when I was over there yesterday it was nearly perfect! Beautiful sunshine and nearly 60 degrees in the afternoon. Might have been the warmest December day I've ever experienced over there.

The only evidence I saw of a storm was a lot of tree branches all over the ground at the Greenlake golf course, which looked like it was probably caused by wind.

Sorry guys, I didn't mean to marginalize anybody's death or act like a big shot.

Either way, this system didn't seem very different from many other rainstorms we've seen, and it pales in comparison to weather I've witnessed in other parts of the country.

It's snowing here, lots. Northern West coast, near AK.
Hasn't stopped for 24 hours, isn't supposed to stop till Friday.

Yeah Justin.....it is supposed to get pretty crazy here for rain in the next couple days. They already gave out warning for some flooding and so forth. Say's we'll get a good few inches of rain Sat-Sun both. Woodland ought to be fun....NOT! haha.

We should try to ride Clark County before next Sunday when they close. I went Monday for the first time in a few years. Super goony at first but I started coming around haha

Damn, I'm on Vancouver Island at my sisters for 5 days, and this rain is brutal. I couldn't live here for all the money in the world, I'll take 20 below and a snow shovel any day of the week. I remember when I use to truck down into Ore and Wa from Alberta, and couldn't wait to get back to the cold. Don't know how you guys do it.
