fuck, I thought, "yes of course" at first and then the more I got into the vid, the moreI questioned my balance. This is an awesome trail.

I was tensing up just watching them round some of the tight corners. Grinning

I'd have to change my pedals before, and my shorts after, but yeah.

Eff that. My bucket ass would be at the bottom of that canyon within 20 yards.

LMAO!

I would be right there next to ya.

Man, just one bump on face of that with the bars would be disastrous.

No thank you. The "danger to fun ratio" for that kind of activity is WAY out of proportion in my opinion.

On the one end of that scale, you have golf with a danger of 0 and a fun of -30.

But riding that kind of trail has a danger of 100 and a fun of about 50. Not worth the risk in my opinion.

Moto, which is why I love it so much, is the best overall with a danger factor of about 80 but a fun factor of 130.

Bull riding (again, no thanks) has a danger of about 90 but the fun factor is only about a 90 so I'll stick to moto.

i like to watch them, not very good at riding them though.

it's about the only non-motorized sport that even comes close to mx.

You would have made it 10 more yards than I would have.

Technically its not all that difficult. But like Bull pen said, the fun to danger ratio is way too high. Personally I cant stand heights and that alone would keep me off that trial. But also the danger of just clipping your left handlebar end on the wall. That would toss your ass right over the edge.

Do you guys know what Northshore is? Watch some northshore vids at youtube if you dont. Exciting stuff. And most of them are riding at quite a height off the ground. Some of the ones Ive seen look to be from 4' to over 12' off the ground and technically really REALLY hard. I made my own northshore track in my yard but I made it a "geriatric northshore track" meaning none of it is more than about 2' off the deck. Smile Maybe I can find a pic to share
