Got to shoot a couple of my neighbors match rifles this weekend. No scopes, no red dots, just my poor eyesight to rely on. At 100 yards, of my first five shots, the first two were out there, the next three pretty well stacked on one another. Made a few sight adjustments and it only got better.
Then it got fun with the M1A. After five warm up bench shots we had a "match". Standing with no support of any sort, damn near a first for me with anything other than a shotgun ( and the neighbor and his son laughing under their breath at me hoping to just hit the target) I nailed every one above 7 scoring a 42 out of a possible 50. The two experienced shooters.....a 41 and a 40. I did get my ass handed to me at 15 yards on the pistol range though.

The Shop
at christmas. I have about 10 extra. I call them Tumble Targets for lack of a better
name. $20 plus shipping. they are good for the smaller caliber stuff. 1/4" mild
steel. You will have to weld them together though.

Here is another gotta have it AR part for you.
Pretty much a full auto speed non NFA (legal to own) fire control group.
More practical then that slide fire stuff....meaning easier to control and you don't have to change out the stock ect..or use some uncomfortable technique to engage at full auto speeds.
They're a drop in style and they retail for $495.00 http://tacfirecon.com
Pretty neat legal compliant technology.

logical to make a bunch. I gave them to my other friends in that group for Christmas and they all liked them. Had some extra gathering dust for the last year and thought maybe a few here might enjoy them also.

With digital cameras, it does all the work too... you just push the button.
I cleared up both of my class 3 issues this week. I can sleep a little easier right now...

Also not hard to send them a sample and get one addressed in your name, just for safe keeping.
However, they ruled it's not a machine gun part.
That the FCG just has "reset features".
