instructor accidently got shot, there is some video up to the incident. More stupid shit, I like shooting guns too.
her parents are retards, she WAS old enough @ this fucking range, how about a fucking BB gun or a 22 rifle.
the short barrel got him killed, she is too young to handle a pistol. Edit, failed to mention instructor was killed.

Hell, a grown adult has a hard time keeping the barrel down when you squeeze one of those.
Im all for guns and gun ownership but im also an advocate of proper education and training in which to handle them responsibly. This was anything but THAT!
There are right and wrong ways to go about teaching kids ..........even had this accident not happened......putting a child behind THAT type of weapon was the WRONG thing to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Shop
Giving a small child an uncontrollable object that sprays lots of bullets just doesn't sound like a good idea.
I have no problem with kids of a certain age taking up the sport (I take my nephew shooting). It's brilliant fun and everyone loves it. But they simply have to be constantly supervised every step of the way. Regardless of the calibre (even a .22lr can kill you from over a mile away) you can never, ever, ever switch off from what they're doing and you should literally never be more than a foot away whilst instructing and monitoring every action they make. To be fair, the guy in the vid was close enough. But then giving someone that age a firearm with fully automatic capability... and then telling them to use it.... Also as the OP mentioned, someone that age should really be on something smaller (a .22lr is a good start) and with a longer barrel.
Shame that the little girl had such dumb fuck parents. Whats the problem with a 20 LBS pull bow or BB gun as stated?
Arizona gun laws.
she weighs about 60 lbs & the instructors last words were "all right, full auto".
drunk shooters scare me the most
Feel so bad for the kids. There so little. They should not be shooting those guns. Way too much recoil. Just dangerous.
Pit Row
I am sure there are people (non-riders) that think that even if just one kid died in youth mx, it should be banned.
I guess you could argue that handing a kid an Uzi would be like putting a 65cc rider on a 450. But is any gun safe in the hands of a 9-year-old?
