It was going to be a awesome restart there ,how do you not know you have to much time in the car and piss away the win as a result. I bet wayne is on suicide watch.

I'm a ford guy and now with the new gt they are tooling up for france next year it makes the pullout from nhra not hurt so bad.

What class did you compete in? The company I worked for was the headline sponsor for the IS series from 89-91. I did the PR and marketing for the company at all the events. Good gig for a young guy that's really into motorsports. Couldn't even think about keeping that kind of schedule up today.

Had some real talent driving in that series back then. Parker Johnstone, Doug Peterson, Garth Ullom, Scott and Irv Hoerr etc. Heck, even NFL Hall of Famer, Walter "Sweetness" Payton from the Chicago Bears drove for the Factory Newman-Sharp Olds team one year. Fun times.

Raced in 1992, did half the season in touring, got 6th at Laguna seca, second half drove for Leigh miller Porsche, did part of 93 then stopped, it was fun but expensive

Four wheels not three yeah. Like to see a rendering of that in one color. Reminds me of a paper airplane.

Flashing on driving 125cc racing karts in August of 2012. Man those things were a blast and an absolute handful to drive.
