oil filter cover?

You did not state which year the bike is....
Yamaha has one bolt on the cover that is softer than the engine case and the threads go bad with just a few oil changes as that bolt resides in a return oil passage and collects metal particals. They made that one bolt soft so the cases will not get damaged. Just replace that one bolt and all is good.
As far as the oil filler hole...One some years it is on the frame and some years it's on the stator cover or clutch cover.

its an 07, the oil filler hole is on the same cover as the oil filter thats why i was wondering about the moose one because i didn't see the filler hole so i was curious where it would be if i got The moose one? any ideas?

The oil filler hole on an 'o7 is located on the stator cover, not the coil filter cover.
Are you sure that it needs an oil filter cover or a stator cover.
Something is not correct here!
The oil filter cover is on the clutch cover on one side of the engine and the stator cover is on the other side of the engine ( the shifter side).

oh then i need the stator cover, i thought the oil filter was on the shifter side. did you click the link? if so is that the stator cover? or what?
